Nambucca Valley Rotary supports the youth of our community in various ways. The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF), The Science Experience (SE) and Rotary Youth Marine (RYMarine) are excellent educational opportunities. If an applicant is successful for one of these programs, NV Rotary will assist by paying half the course costs.
Leadership opportunities are available through programs such as the Rotary Young Leadership Awards (RYLA) and the Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN). Again, successful applicants will have half the program costs provided by NV Rotary.
Local youth selected to represent in their chosen sport may also apply to NV Rotary for financial assistance. Up to $400 may be available to help with purchasing uniforms, equipment, etc. A letter from the young person’s parent/carer outlining their achievements and explaining how the money would be used can be emailed to rotarynambuccavalley@gmail.com for consideration.
Please call Kerry Dedman NV Rotary Club President on 0429100364 if you would like more information.
