Nambucca Valley Rotary provides a service to the residents of Riverside Gardens & Autumn Lodge by way of taking people for a ride in our 2 seater trike once per week.

These residents from the “nursing” section have been enjoying a ride. We are expanding the service to the independent living residents. This enables more people to enjoy the pleasure of a journey out into the community and along the beautiful waterways of our towns.

The trike is stored in a shipping container at Autumn Lodge (Macksville). Each week it is loaded into a trailer to take to Riverside Gardens (Nambucca Heads).

To improve our service, we are proposing to purchase a second trike & store it at Riverside Gardens. This will enable us to expand the services to the private disability sector of our towns, especially those who would not normally have this kind of access.

We need to raise $8,600.

Nambucca Lions have pledged some money from the World Disability cake stall that they ran on 30th November.
